My English Christmas

Next adventure

So, I spent last week with my daughter who is currently working in the UK, we had a delightful time and as the time approached for me to leave, she presented me with this (see photo) and through the wide doughy eyes that only a daughter can give to her father declared „I think that you know what this means!“. My heart melting, I gave her a hug and whispered into her ear „Of course.“

Cards on the table people. I didn’t have a fucking clue what she was on about and was in fact, slightly concerned that she might have prematurely been infected with the insanity that we call The Cuthbertson Gene.

I therefore did what I do with alarming regularity and asked my wife what on earth was going on. It transpires that my daughter and son had got together to get me a ticket for tonight’s Guns And Roses concert in Vienna.

On a side note, I am going on my own so if there is a Kiss Cam at this concert, look out for the balding middle aged fella tenderly cradling a beer.
